Placeholder ImageSanta Rosa police arrested two people on Friday who they say are responsible for the shooting death of a 60-year-old man outside his Santa Rosa residence on Brookwood Avenue earlier this month.
The victim, Mark Calcagni, was found shot to death in the street at about 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 3 by a neighbor, who called 911.

A 43-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both Dublin residents, were identified as suspects after an investigation by the Santa Rosa Police Department's Violent Crimes Investigations Team that was said to be based on witness interviews, surveillance footage, and unspecified "digital evidence."

Both were allegedly former employees at an adult nightclub in San Francisco that Calcagni managed, police said in a news release Saturday.

The Santa Rosa Police Department alleged in its statement that the male suspect waited for Calcagni to come home before shooting him, and alleged that the woman helped plan the shooting.

The male suspect was arrested at the Dublin residence that police said he and the woman shared in the 7500 block of St. Patrick Way.

The female suspect was arrested shortly afterward at San Francisco International Airport upon returning from an international trip, according to police.

The Santa Rosa Police Department asked anyone with information about the homicide to call its Violent Crimes Investigations Team at (707) 543-3590. Anonymous tips can be submitted online at http://www.srcity.org/CrimeTips.
