Arts Alive meets monthly to connect and promote Petaluma’s vibrant arts community. This meeting was a collaboration with the community to build a farm inspired Rhode Island Red Chicken float for the 41st annual Butter & Eggs Days parade.
This historical marker, located in Duncan’s Mills, commemorates the first-time poetry was left at a stage holdup. The plaque tells the story of Black Bart who robbed the state heading from Fort Ross to Duncan’s Mills in May of 1877 and left a poem at the scene.
We visit the Fix-it Clinic and Reuse Fair in Forestville. To reduce waste and costs, fix-it fairs repair various items like bicycles, lamps, and clothing free of cost to keep them out of landfills.
