A Woodstock statue in Santa Rosa's Railroad Square

In the second part of this two-episode series, host Michelle Marques takes us to the city where Charles M. Schulz grew up: St. Paul, Minnesota. From 2000 to 2010, artists in both St. Paul and Santa Rosa painted and auctioned off hundreds of 5-foot-tall sculptures of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and more in an art installation known as Peanuts on Parade. Hear how the sculptures were made by a Minnesota company with strong ties to Schulz and his family; how a St. Paul tour guide completed a mission to visit 109 Lucy statues with her 2-year-old daughter; how a Peanuts historian prepared Santa Rosa for their statue series; and what the Schulz Museum is doing to remember Peanuts on the 75th anniversary of the comic strip this October.
